This test aims to ensure that the progress bar on the survey works as intended.

The user has entered the page where the survey is and is ready to start filling it out.

Test steps

Repeat these following steps with Chrome, Firefox and Microsoft Edge

  1. Choose 5 Most important skills
  2. Choose 5 Important skills
  3. Choose 5 Valuable skills
  4. Choose 5 Future need skills
  5. Choose 3 Soft skills
  6. Ensure that the progress bar progresses after each selection
  7. Remove selections and ensure that the progress bar regresses
  8. Tick all possible buttons on the survey to ensure that the bar goes to 100%

Test end-state

The user has selected all of the possible skills and is ready to submit the answers

Test result (Pass/Fail Criteria)

  • PASS condition: The progress bar progresses after each selection, regresses after selections are removed and the bar goes to 100%
  • FAIL condition: Any of the above criteria aren't met
